The Blue Ridge Parkway in the area North of Asheville was subject to some massive storms over the winter visible by the huge amount of tree limbs that littler the side of the highway. Work crews have been hard at work making the road clear for the upcoming season. While not as twisty Skyline drive, the sights along the side of the road are much more then just beautiful vistas – as many farms and old homes back up to the road giving us a view at country living.
Asheville is quite an amazing little city. Its a big little city full of fantastic breweries, bars and friendly people. Lucky for Nico it’s a very dog-centric city so he was able to enjoy a cold bowl of water wherever we stopped in for a pint.
