Across the country a group of racers with a sense of humor and a small budget compete in the 24 hours of Lemons. (http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/) This static display presents some of those cars along side a sampling of non-competition car that are well known for their odd and quirky styling. This event is the perfect antidote to the excess and attitude of the rest of the Monterey weekend.
Saturday afternoon we attended the vintage races at the fantastic Laguna Seca track. Several important and historic Alfas were seen both on the track and in the very busy paddock. The weather was perfect with clear, sunny skies and a cool breeze. Aside from the great racing there was a great area devoted to quality merchandise for purchase where one could meet Sir Sterling Moss, Jay Leno and F1 driver/ Commentator Martin Bundle
