Iceland – land of rocks and flies.

July 23 – 25, 2013

Departing from Boston Airport we arrived in Iceland to see its often told wonders, but truth be told this prehistoric rock of an island is full of flies, well overpriced beer and sulfur smelling baths and hotel showers. A land where stuffed puffins are sold to children as toys and to adults as dinner. Truly the best reason to visit is for the cheap air-fair to Europe with the obligatory stop-over. Our accommodations for this leg of the trip was the Flóki Guesthouse
