Friday the Auto e Moto d’Epoca opened to the general public with standard priced tickets so the crowds were many. Photographing the special cars without someone standing in the way was much more difficult so I focused on the parts area seeking out some items on my list. Several parts of interest were located but as there are still several days left to the market – prices where at a maximum and haggling was mostly futile. Exhausted again from many hours on our feet we sought out Italian craft beer at a pub in southern Padua reached by a very fast single rail tram. The return trip to the B&B this night avoided the “death walk” through the narrow streets as we opted for a taxi.
Saturday and Sunday we are told that the attendance reaches it hight – so we plan to avoid the show entirely and explore the historic sections of Padua.
