The decks were built several years ago and were never treated with any preservative. The wood used was pressure treated against rot and insects but the sun will grey, splinter and bend the untreated boards. A floor sander was rented to smooth the surface and prepare it for stain/sealant. Next the simple step to apply the stain – as always much more is required then expected.
