The highlight of staying on the beach is the evening walks at sunset – which occurs well past 10pm in these parts.
An afternoon spent in Utrecht while waiting to be able to pick up the AlfaSud from the Alfa shop where its getting some maintenance done in preparation for the upcoming trip to Scotland. The Utrecht train museum (Spoorwegmuseum) is a great stop for kids and adults who are into (or obsessed with) trains. Of note is a large monument outside the station dedicated to those shipped out via the trains during WW2 to various camps thought Europe.
