Various days, assorted sights in the Glenlivet area of Scotland.
We were fortunate to have several days of very nice sunny weather. To the people of Northern Scotland who rarely ever see the sun, it appeared to be a heatwave. The beauty of the area only slightly marred masses of tourists crowding around the overly tatty Loch Ness.
On one of our last days in the area we attended the Highland games in the village of Charleston of Abelour These festivals are held through the summer in various villages and draw a large crowd. They consist of music (bagpipes), and athletic competitions.
