A walk on the beach pushing against a driving and quite chilly wind lead us to a dune cafe then a hike through the dunes. Eventually the sun made a brief appearance but vanished for our stop at the local abby brewery. In the downtown section of Egmond a town-wide party was in effect that was mostly an excuse to drink cheap plastic cups of Amstel beer and sing Dutch songs in a tent and eat fried food. Bev discovered Oliebol (deep fried dough with sugar)
