Finally all rebuild parts were together and the head and crankshaft were back from the very busy machine shop. Engine assembly was now at hand. With only three days to go before a long drive to an planed Alfa gathering time was very short and any mistake or missing part would cause big problems. Fortunately the engine came together without a problem and after 800 miles, she’s running great. Next item on the agenda – re-torque the head.
