Brake booster change on 1973 Giulia Super

On the drive to from Connecticut to Florida it became apparent that the brakes were feeling very hard and not very grippy. If a sudden locking of the brakes became required the use of the  handbrake would be needed to be sure of stopping quickly. Testing the booster for vacuum showed that it would build and hold vacuum. Possibly, the diaphragm in the inside the booster had a tear that would only loose vacuum when the brake was depressed.    Swapping out the booster is a relatively easy job with this year Alfa as there is only one booster and the brake fluid reservoir is able to be moved. The trickiest parts are getting the peddle assembly out through the hole in the firewall and not dripping any brake fluid on the pain.
