Attic Insulation and T&G Planks

The insulation in the attic was mostly made up of dust, mouse poop and some old fashioned and very itch spun glass insulation. To replace this and remove the mouse droppings first the old T&G planks that were used before plywood became the fashion had to be removed. Once this difficult task was completed the itchy and choking began as the old dusty insulation was removed and bagged up for disposal. New, much thicker insulation was installed and even doubled up in several areas.  When completed plywood  was used as the new flooring in some areas designated for storage.   The old planks were too nice to dispose of and were put to use to cover the ugly popcorn ceiling in the bedroom.
