Both the fuel pump and filter/regulator were sent out for rebuilding and came back today. Replacements for both are available as new but in much lower quality imported from China or the terrible Italian made “Filter King” brand with a plastic filter bowl that comes loose and leaks all over your hot motor and sparking distributor.
Both items were leaking and the regulator in particular sprayed gas like a fountain out of a small pin-hole on the top. All of the internal parts/gaskets shown in the photos were replaced.
